The Small Things In Life
Over the past few days, I have reflected on life and the importance of being present and in the moment. When life becomes overwhelming, it is time to take a step back and reflect on your life and what you want to accomplish. Taking photographs recently has been my escape from the "real world" and has been a relaxing experience. I did not realize how much I missed taking photos until recently when I took a photography class for my schooling. Your mental health needs to take the time to enjoy the small things. When I was at Colonial Park recently (by myself, I might add), I sat by this flower for ten to fifteen minutes just watching the butterflies come and go. It was such a relaxing moment and just what I needed to decompress.
